1. The colors are different   

In a literal sense, the difference between brass and bronze is that the two are different colors, brass is yellow, and bronze is cyan or green.  In addition to brass plates and white copper plates, other copper plates will also show green or cyan after a period of oxidation, so these types of copper plates can also be called bronze plates.  Discriminating from the color is a simpler and more convenient way to distinguish the brass plate and the bronze plate.

The main reason for the different colors of the brass plate and the bronze plate is that the metal elements added to the two are different, and the main material of the brass plate is brass, and the zinc element is added to the brass in the smelting process.  The bronze plate is made by adding an alloy containing tin or lead to pure copper.

Brass plate has good mechanical properties, strong wear resistance, in the industrial cutting and grinding are more convenient.  Fiber welding and welding are easy and corrosion resistant.  In cold and hot state, it can also have good pressure processing performance.  Bronze plate has the characteristics of low melting point, high hardness, good wear resistance, good plasticity, bright color and so on.  

4. They are used differently   

Brass plates can be used to produce complex parts that can withstand deep drawing and bending processes, such as mechanical parts, bearings, condensing pipes, drains, hardware, screens, radiator parts, etc.  The bronze plate can be used for the production of electronic components, precision casting molds, precision instruments, explosion-proof tools.  

5. The prices are different   

The price of zinc is lower than the price of copper, so the price of brass plate will be cheaper, and the tin price of bronze plate is much more expensive than copper, so the price of copper plate will be more expensive.
